The new Pulsar Merger XP35 LRF thermal binocular is distinguished by an exceptional field of view.
Pulsar has launched the Merger XP35 LRF thermal binocular, which stands out as their most compact to date. Integrating the powerful XP thermal sensor with a precision laser rangefinder, this classically designed and lightweight binocular is ideal for activities on the move. Equipped with a high-sensitivity Lynred thermal sensor, a fast-aperture F35/1.0 germanium lens, a pixel size of 17 µm, a NETD of less than 25 mK, and an integrated laser rangefinder, the Merger XP35 LRF offers detailed images and precise measurements at distances of up to 1 kilometer. Additionally, it features advanced functions such as a rugged magnesium alloy housing, a dual battery system, a proximity sensor, a video recorder, Wi-Fi integration, HD AMOLED displays, and an IPX7 rating for temporary immersion.

High-sensitivity European-made 640x480 thermal sensor with NETD less than 25 mK
A high-sensitivity European thermal imaging sensor with NETD < 25 mK can capture minimal temperature differences when observing in low thermal contrast conditions, as well as in rain or fog. The 640x480 pixel resolution ensures reliable target identification, as well as high-quality visualization of important anatomical features of the animal and minute details of the surrounding landscape.
The widest field of view in the thermal binocular category: 17.8°
The 640x480/17 µm sensor offers the widest field of view in the Merger LRF model range, at 17.8 degrees. A wide field of view simplifies scanning and the detection of hot objects, while simultaneously minimizing image shake effects and enhancing situational awareness. Excellent image detail at base magnification combined with a wide field of view ensures greater viewing comfort and perception of the scene.
Built-in precision laser rangefinder. Measuring range up to 1000 m
Knowing the target distance is an essential factor for correct decision-making. An integrated laser rangefinder with a range of up to 1 kilometer allows you to measure distances in single-measurement and continuous-scan modes with an accuracy of ± 1 meter for a quick and error-free evaluation of the situation.
Observation comfort with both eyes
The optical design of the Merger LRF binoculars has taken into account the nature of human vision. It is natural for a person to receive visual information through two visual channels simultaneously. Viewing with both eyes is less tiring than with just one. This translates into better detection of small or dim objects, and better performance in low-contrast scenarios compared to similar monocular thermal imaging devices with the same technical level. The interpupillary distance of the Merger LRF binoculars is adjustable from 62 to 74 mm, depending on the individual characteristics of each user.
Integrated photo and video recorder with 16 GB of internal memory
The Merger LRF has a built-in video recorder. The internal memory of the Merger LRF can store hours of video and tens of thousands of photos. Just press a button to capture a photo of an interesting scene or start recording a video. Downloading files is simple via USB Type-C or the mobile application.
Stream Vision 2. Wi-Fi integration with iOS and Android devices
The integrated Wi-Fi connects the Merger LRF with Android and iOS smartphones via the Stream Vision 2 mobile application. This opens up a wide range of options, such as wireless device software updates, real-time image streaming from the device to the smartphone screen, social media publishing of photo and video content captured by the device or sending to messaging apps, remote control of digital device functions, and access to the latest Pulsar news. Additionally, registered users receive 16 GB of cloud storage for photos and videos recorded with the device.
3 levels of sensitivity amplification
Signal amplification level selection, combined with new filtering algorithms with fine-tuned brightness and contrast adjustments, offers the hunter excellent conditions for long-range observation in various weather and temperature conditions. Amplification adjustment helps define the characteristics of the trophy animal and ensures a clear representation of objects and the background in the field of view.
Dual battery system. Up to 9 hours of continuous operation
The Merger LRF is powered by two rechargeable batteries: one built-in with a capacity of 4 Ah and another replaceable with a capacity of 3.2 Ah. A single charge guarantees battery life of up to 9 hours. The embossing on the body of the replaceable battery to precisely determine the correct position allows for quick and safe replacement of a depleted battery with a new one in total darkness by feel.
High-contrast HD AMOLED displays
The HD AMOLED displays of the Merger offer a sharp, high-contrast, and vividly colored field of view. AMOLED technology ensures a flawless, smooth, high-resolution image, as well as energy savings.
Rugged magnesium alloy housing
The Merger LRF is designed for constant use, often in difficult weather conditions. The magnesium alloy housing is lightweight yet strong at the same time. The housing reliably protects the internal components of the thermal imaging camera from shocks, drops, moisture, heat, or cold. At the same time, a metal housing effectively dissipates heat from the electronic components and increases the operational consistency of the device during long-term observation.
IPX7 waterproof rating
With an IPX7 waterproof rating to protect it from torrential rain, snow, or other precipitation, the unit is designed to function flawlessly even after being submerged in up to 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes.
A selection of 8 color palettes
A selection of 8 color palettes allows the user to observe their field of view more effectively, enabling them to optimize the unit for specific tasks, as well as react to any changes in observation conditions. White Hot, Black Hot, and Red Hot are optimal tones for object detection; Rainbow and Ultramarine help increase the chances of recognition and identification. Red Monochrome, Sepia, and Violet are best suited for prolonged nighttime observation.
Proximity sensor for covert use
Observation in darkness requires that the location be hidden, so that hunted animals are not alerted by your presence. Switching to standby mode using the Display Off function is a common way to avoid eyepiece backlight. To simplify this task, the Merger LRF incorporates a proximity sensor.
It acts as a display switch to prevent backlight exposure in the dark. Moving the unit away from the eyes turns off both displays, and when the unit is brought closer, both displays turn on, offering excellent image quality.
Wide operating temperature range (-25 to +50 °C)
The housing, power unit, optics, and electronics of the Merger LRF are designed with a wide temperature range in mind. The Merger ensures reliable and efficient operation in sub-zero temperatures down to -25 °C.
