HIKMICRO 4K action camera for shooting HIKCam A7E

The HIKMICRO HIKCam A7E is a compact action camera designed specifically for recording hunting trips, shooting practice, and sports competitions from the weapon's perspective. It offers recording with a maximum resolution of 4K at 60 frames per second, various digital zoom levels from 2x to 8x, and optimized modes for clay pigeon shooting, bird tracking, big game hunting, small game hunting, and target practice.

Its intelligent recording system allows the camera to be activated by the weapon's elevation movement or upon detecting shot recoil. Thus, the HIKCam A7E can adapt both to disciplines starting from a low-ready position, such as FITASC or Olympic Skeet, and to fast-paced situations like Trap, sporting clays, driven hunts, and other hunting activities.

The camera incorporates different video settings, from 4K at 60 fps to 720p at 120 fps, allowing users to prioritize maximum image quality or higher recording speeds to analyze rapid movements. Adjustable slow-motion playback, with speeds of 0.2x, 0.3x, 0.6x, and 1x, helps review the swing, mounting, target tracking, and the exact moment of the shot.

Its self-learning algorithm adapts exposure to sudden lighting changes, such as moving from sunny areas to deep shadows or backlit situations. Furthermore, it allows for choosing different reticle shapes and colors to review the weapon's trajectory with greater precision and assess the result of each action.

Weighing only 138.6 grams and measuring 103.5 x 30 mm without the mount, it features a compact form factor that facilitates its mounting and transport. It has 64 GB of internal storage, Wi-Fi connectivity, an internal 18650 battery, IP67 protection, and recoil resistance of up to 375 G for 1.7 ms.

Main features

4K recording at 60 fps

The HIKCam A7E allows for capturing videos at 4K resolution at 60 frames per second, providing fluid and detailed images to review every movement during a shooting or hunting session.

High-speed recording up to 120 fps

The 1080p and 720p at 120 fps modes allow for recording fast movements with greater fluidity, facilitating the analysis of clay tracking, birds, and other moving targets.

2x to 8x digital zoom

The camera offers different levels of zoom depending on the selected resolution. This allows for adapting the framing and apparent distance of the target to different shooting disciplines and hunting scenarios.

Automatic activation via recoil

The Recoil-activation Recording system detects the recoil of the shot and automatically triggers recording to capture the action without needing to manipulate the camera.

Activation via elevation movement

The elevation activation mode detects the weapon's mounting movement. It is especially useful in sports disciplines where the shooter starts with the weapon in a low position.

Specific pre-recording modes

The camera saves the seconds before and after activation to ensure the start of the action is not missed. The times vary according to the mode selected for clay pigeon shooting, small game, big game, or target practice.

Adjustable slow-motion playback

The playback speeds of 0.2x, 0.3x, 0.6x, and 1x allow for analyzing shooting technique without needing to pre-select a specific slow-motion mode.

Intelligent light adaptation algorithm

The self-learning system automatically adjusts the image when moving from bright areas to shadows or backlit scenarios, helping maintain a balanced recording.

Customizable reticles

Allows selecting different reticle shapes and colors to adapt the display to the type of target and facilitate subsequent analysis of each shot.

64 GB internal storage

The built-in memory allows saving videos directly to the camera without the need for an external memory card.

High-speed Wi-Fi connectivity

Wireless connection allows for viewing the image in real-time, reviewing videos, transferring files, and controlling certain functions from a compatible mobile phone.

Up to 15 hours of battery life

The internal 18650 battery provides a battery life of up to 15 hours, equivalent to approximately 400 shots in clay pigeon shooting or 200 actions during a hunting trip, depending on settings and usage conditions.

Resistance to strong recoil

The camera is built to withstand a maximum recoil acceleration of 375 G for 1.7 ms, providing stable performance during recording.

Compact and lightweight design

Its weight of 138.6 g and length of 103.5 mm reduce the bulk added to the setup and facilitate handling of the weapon during extended sessions.

Other features

Cortex A55 processor: incorporates a quad-core processor at 1.3 GHz responsible for managing recording, image processing, and smart functions.
