The PARD Wombat thermal camera series is designed for those looking for a compact device with high-resolution sensors, a 4.5-inch rotating screen, integrated laser rangefinder, and excellent detection even in adverse conditions.
Its 480 25 LRF, 480 35 LRF, and 640 35 LRF versions incorporate 12 µm sensors with sensitivities of ≤ 18 mK, offering superior performance in night observation, hunting, surveillance, and professional use. Featuring optics of 25 mm or 35 mm, up to 8× digital zoom, battery life of up to 8 hours, advanced connectivity, and a robust AL6061 alloy housing, the Wombat range is positioned as a reliable tool for long distances and high-precision thermal analysis.
Main features
High-sensitivity thermal sensor
Integrates sensors with a 12 µm pixel size and NETD ≤ 18 mK, capable of revealing minimal thermal differences, offering more precise images in low-contrast scenarios such as light fog or humid nights.
4.5’’ rotating HD screen
Its foldable screen, which rotates up to 270°, allows for comfortable observation from low or high angles. The 1280×720 HD resolution ensures a clear and wide image.
Integrated laser rangefinder
The built-in LRF rangefinder measures distances with great accuracy up to approximately 1,000 meters, facilitating environment assessment and long-distance identification.
Specialized 25 mm and 35 mm optics
The 25 mm model offers a wider field of view for close observation and mobility. The 35 mm models provide greater range and sharpness at extended distances, especially in the 640 version.
Digital zoom up to 8×
The 2×, 4×, 6×, and 8× progressive zoom allows for enlarging the scene without losing stability or control over the thermal detail.
Wi-Fi, HDMI, and USB-C connectivity
These allow for fast and simple video streaming, viewing on monitors, and file management, in addition to facilitating device charging.
Extended battery life
The rechargeable battery provides up to approximately 8 hours of operation, allowing for long sessions without the need to recharge.
