The 3M™ PELTOR™ ComTac™ VIII headsets are designed to provide high-quality hearing protection and enable clear situational awareness in difficult acoustic environments, making them ideal for military and law enforcement applications. They feature advanced functionalities such as enhanced environmental listening and Mission Audio Profiles (MAP) that optimize hearing in different conditions. Additionally, some versions include a noise-cancelling microphone and cable connection to radios with a push-to-talk (PTT) button. Their rugged design and advanced technology ensure superior performance in noisy and challenging environments.
The ComTac™ VIII is recognized for its resistance to extreme conditions, thanks to its waterproof construction and its ability to operate in a wide temperature range. The additional protection of the earplug mode helps maintain situational awareness, even when wearing earplugs.

The ComTac VIII is a device with a telescopic dynamic microphone, ideal for demanding environments. Its robustness includes saltwater resistance of up to 2 meters for 30 minutes and an operating temperature range of -40°C to +55°C. This model is compatible with different plug types, such as NATO and PELTOR, and provides a battery life of up to 50 hours with two AAA batteries. Furthermore, it has certifications that guarantee its reliability, such as the EN 352-1:2020, EN 352-4:2020, and EN 352-6:2020 standards.
