Dogtrace GPS X25-B tracking system. A handheld device and collar set for tracking a dog's position while working in the field. This reference identifies the series and set functions; choose the appropriate collar size from the available versions.

• Available in two sizes (standard and SHORT)
• Standard collar: Ideal for dogs with a neck circumference of 30 cm or more.
• SHORT collar: Ideal for dogs with a neck circumference of 26 cm or more. The flexible section of the electronics is shorter (9 cm compared to the 13 cm of the standard X20 GPS collar), allowing the strap to be adjusted for smaller dogs.
• Improved version of the X20:
• Supports up to 19 dogs. The X20 supports 9.
• It has 4 collar versions: locator, locator + training, locator + beeper, locator + training + beeper. The X20 only has locator collars.
• Two frequency channels to allow switching in case of interference. The X20 only has one channel with no option to change it.
• Three different internal tones for close-range location and training (calling the dog). The X20 does not have acoustic tones.
• The X25 range is compatible with X20 collars, so we can use an X25 handheld with 19 X20 collars.
• X25 collars can be synced with X30 handhelds, but only their location function can be used. The beeper and training functions do not work with the X30 handheld.
• Locates 1 to 19 dogs.
• EXTERNAL HORN: Allows for long-distance location. Audible up to 300 meters. Controlled from the handheld.
• Maximum range 20 km.

• Direct location screen for each dog using an arrow showing the direction and exact distance at which it is located.
• COMPASS function: The screen always shows true north so that we are well-oriented at all times.
• WAYPOINT function: Allows memorizing points of interest, car location, hunting areas, etc. Each recorded point occupies a channel (for a collar). Maximum 3 points of interest.
• WOODCOCK function: Notifies us if any dog is on point. When a dog is on point, the receiver handheld beeps or vibrates.
• BOAR function: Activated when a dog moves in circles within the same area.
• FENCE function: Allows us to mark a circular security perimeter in relation to the handheld (maximum 2 km). If the dog exceeds this distance, the handheld beeps to notify us.
• CAR function: Allows the use of the handheld inside a vehicle.
• The communication interval between each collar and the receiver handheld can be adjusted. We can choose for them to communicate every 3, 6, or 9 seconds. This function is very useful for the system to offer the best performance for both woodcock dogs and tracking dogs.
• Submersible handheld and collars.
• Ideal for dogs with a neck circumference of 30 cm or more.
• The collar can be easily paired with several handhelds at the same time.
• 3-hour charging time for collars and receiver handheld.
• Collar and handheld charging connectors without caps or slots that could cause problems with mud.
• Collar battery life of 40 to 50 hours.
• Receiver handheld battery life of 40 hours.
• Collars with interchangeable straps that allow them to be identified by color.

Choosing the collar

The Standard and Short versions use different collar sizes. The term Short refers to the format of the collar, not a reduction in the system's range. Follow the neck measurements indicated for this model.
