The grade 3 walnut wood used for the stock and fore-end is carefully selected for color, density, and grain. As a result, the shotgun achieves an impeccable aesthetic and extraordinary balance, which is further refined during construction by precisely distributing the weight of each component.
Beretta Triblock® technology, the system designed for Beretta side-by-side shotguns, strengthens the barrel unit while eliminating the need for prominent weld lines, ensuring the exterior aesthetics and superior elegance of demibloc construction shotguns.
The 486 Parallelo incorporates Steelium® barrels with a double forcing cone that reaches a length of 80 mm (in a 76 cm barrel): this guarantees smoother ballistics that help reduce recoil and muzzle jump, ensuring perfect, dense, and uniform patterns. Made of high-strength steel, Beretta Optimachoke HP® chokes offer unmatched resistance to corrosion and the power of steel shot. Built with an elongated cone, these choke tubes feature an internal profile designed to reduce friction and improve pattern density and distribution.
