Beretta Ultraleggero Shotgun

The receiver of the classic Beretta over-and-under is universally known for its slender, elegant profile: it is characterized by the proven locking system with the iconic trapezoidal shoulders and double conical locking lugs; the sides and the bottom of the receiver have been hollowed out, leaving only the amount of metal truly necessary to guarantee Beretta's reliability and strength. Special technopolymer inserts have been made for the hollowed-out areas of the receiver, obtained thanks to ultramodern technology, which creates special angles on the surface capable of simulating the visual effect of light reflectance typical of steel engravings.
The insertion of aluminum components, including the trigger guard and the opening lever system, emphasizes the "light weight" of the shotgun thanks to a total weight saving of about 404 grams compared to the classic 690 series.
The stock and forend are made of selected class 2.5 walnut wood; the oil finish allows for easy repair of scratches or damage in case of particularly extreme use.
The Extralight® recoil pad, 30 percent lighter and abrasion-resistant, allows for greater weight reduction while providing comfort and stability when shouldered, with excellent recoil absorption.
Ultraleggero uses Steelium® Optima Bore® HP barrels made of triple-alloy steel, characterized by deep drilling, cold hammer forging, and vacuum stress relieving; the special geometry, with an 80 mm double forcing cone, is designed to offer excellent performance and always perfect, uniform patterns, while reducing recoil and muzzle climb.
