Krieghoff is proud to offer the K-80 Trap Special Combo with a fully adjustable high-post rib on the over/under, Unsingle, and Top Single barrels for Point of Impact (POI) adjustments. Built around the proven K-80 receiver, the Trap Special comes with 30″ or 32” O/U barrels and 34” Unsingle or Top Single barrels. 

The Trap Special can also be ordered as a complete gun with the barrel of the shooter’s choice. Titanium choke tubes and a Monte Carlo trap stock with an adjustable comb specifically designed for the high-post rib are standard features. 

Shipped from the factory with a 70%/30% POI in all barrels, the rib can be adjusted to make the gun shoot a fairly flat 60%/40% or up to a nearly full-pattern high. Changing your POI to your personal preference is as simple as using the adjustment wheel on the Trap Special’s rib. 

By loosening the set screw and lowering the rib, you can achieve a higher POI. The higher rib provides good visibility around the gun and quick target acquisition. 

An added benefit is low recoil due to an "heads-up" shooting position. 

Particularly unique is the fully adjustable O/U barrel for shooting doubles. Not only can the point of impact of both barrels be adjusted simultaneously, but the spread between the 2 free-floating barrels can also be adjusted by changing the front hanger, resulting in a different POI for each barrel, if desired. In this way, the bottom barrel can be set to shoot higher than the top barrel. 

The K-80 Trap Special combo with full point of impact adjustment is a hallmark of Krieghoff shotguns.

FACTORY PERFORMANCE OPTIONS:

Additional factory options include factory titanium chokes, sub-gauge barrels in 20 gauge, 28 gauge, and .410 bore. Adjust the balance of your gun with optional barrel weights and the Krieghoff balance system. Reduce felt recoil by having the factory provide Barrel Porting, and customize your original fit with a Krieghoff adjustable butt plate system.

FACTORY APPEARANCE OPTIONS:

Customize the look of your K-80 with various factory appearance upgrades. From simply upgrading the wood to changing the factory Top-Latch, the options are endless. Titanium options; switch to a titanium trigger available in standard, wide, or short sizes, and add a titanium front hanger to complete the look. More traditional is adding a gold-plated trigger and housing, as well as customizing the trigger guard and top latch.
