INVECTOR PLUS
Speed load
The speed loading feature has been popular in Browning semi-automatics for decades. Our patented Speed Load Plus loading and unloading system feeds the first cartridge from the magazine directly into the chamber and allows for quick unloading without having to cycle each cartridge through the chamber using the bolt.
Magazine Cut-off
All Maxus models, with the exception of the Sporting models, are equipped with a magazine cut-off so that the shooter can easily empty the chamber and thus change the type of cartridge without having to chamber a new round from the magazine.
Power Drive Gas System
The Power Drive Gas system uses large exhaust valves to vent unused gas more quickly. A new patented design for an integrated exhaust valve keeps residue out of the mechanism for cleaner operation. The piston has a 20% longer stroke to make it more reliable with light loads. The system operates with loads from 24 to 64 g.
Back-Bored Barrel
The Back-bored™ barrel principle involves increasing the barrel's bore diameter and lengthening the forcing cone, which provides three advantages: increased velocity, better pellet penetration/patterning, and reduced recoil.
