Beretta SL2 over-and-under shotgun

The Beretta SL2 represents Beretta's new generation of competition shotguns, developed by the Pietro Beretta Selection to offer maximum performance in Sporting and hunting courses. It combines the expertise gained with the DT11 and decades of competition development with a completely renewed, more streamlined, balanced, and customizable platform.

The SL2 incorporates a new, thinner-profile receiver, a locking system inspired by the legendary Beretta SO shotguns, Steelium® Pro X barrels, a detachable trigger group, and an integral balancing system that allows the dynamic behavior of the weapon to be adapted to each shooter.

Key features

New SL2 receiver

The receiver has been completely redesigned to offer a lower and more streamlined profile without sacrificing robustness. Its design improves visibility over the rib, facilitates target tracking, and optimizes the overall balance of the weapon.

Boss-Type locking system

The SL2 adopts a new locking system inspired by the historic Beretta SO shotguns, using a large-surface cross-bolt lock that provides extraordinary wear resistance even after hundreds of thousands of shots.

Steelium® Pro X barrels

The new Steelium® Pro X barrels are manufactured using deep drilling, cold hammer forging, and vacuum stress relieving.

Their internal geometry improves pattern uniformity, reduces perceived recoil, and provides a more progressive transition for the shot.

Optimachoke® XP chokes

It is equipped with the new 90 mm Optimachoke® XP chokes, designed specifically for the Steelium® Pro X barrels. Their greater length promotes more uniform patterns and a more progressive transition compared to the previous Optimachoke® HP chokes.

Detachable trigger group

The trigger group can be quickly removed to facilitate maintenance or replacement during a competition.

It is equipped with steel leaf springs to offer a clean, fast, and consistent trigger pull.

Adjustable trigger

The trigger can be moved longitudinally to adapt to the shooter's hand and achieve a more comfortable and natural shooting position.

B-Fast® balancing system

The B-Fast® system allows the weapon's balance to be modified using counterweights installed in the stock and barrels, adapting the dynamic response to each discipline and shooting style.

Optimized top rib

The 11 × 8 mm top rib offers an excellent visual reference for Sporting, improving target acquisition and reducing glare.

Grade 4 wood

The stock and forend are made of selected grade 4 walnut, with hand-checkering and finishes characteristic of the Pietro Beretta Selection.

Graphite Grey finish

The receiver features an elegant Graphite Grey finish, developed to offer high wear resistance and a modern, exclusive aesthetic.
