The GUIDE TE425S is a compact and lightweight thermal monocular equipped with an advanced 400 × 300-pixel sensor, a 15 mK NETD thermal sensitivity, and the ApexVision S1 image processing system. This combination provides detailed images and facilitates target recognition even in fog, rain, vegetation, or low thermal contrast conditions.
Its 25 mm F0.9 objective lens, zoom up to 7.6x, and detection range of up to 1,300 meters allow for locating animals and heat sources at great distances. It also incorporates an AMOLED display, video recording with sound, 64 GB internal memory, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 20 W fast charging.
Main features
Sharp and detailed thermal imaging
The 400 × 300-pixel VOx thermal sensor, with a 12 μm pixel pitch, 50 Hz frame rate, and 15 mK NETD sensitivity, offers fluid images and allows for distinguishing small temperature differences in demanding environmental conditions.
ApexVision S1 imaging system
The ApexVision S1 architecture combines the ApexCore S1 detector, the Nexus 1.0 platform, and the Hyper-Light 2.0 algorithm to improve the clarity, contrast, and definition of thermal details.
Long-distance detection
The 25 mm F0.9 lens provides a detection range of up to 1,300 meters. Its manual focus allows for precise image adjustment based on the observation distance.
Up to 7.6x magnification
It features a base magnification of 1.9x and digital zoom up to 7.6x, facilitating both searching in open spaces and identifying targets located at greater distances.
High-resolution AMOLED display
The 0.32-inch, 800 × 600-pixel AMOLED screen provides a clear, fluid, and high-contrast display. The 25 mm eye relief and -5 to +5 diopter adjustment offer comfortable observation over prolonged periods.
Video recording with sound
It allows for capturing photographs and recording videos with audio thanks to its built-in microphone. The 64 GB internal memory provides sufficient space to store observations made during outings.
Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity
Dual-band 2.4 and 5 GHz Wi-Fi allows connecting the device to the TargetIR mobile application to view the live image, manage files, and update the unit. It also includes Bluetooth for using compatible accessories.
Easy one-handed operation
Its one-button and control ring design simplifies access to menus and the adjustment of different functions, allowing the monocular to be operated quickly and intuitively.
Fast-charging battery
The integrated battery offers up to 5 hours of battery life and supports 20 W fast charging. Approximately 10 minutes of charging can provide up to an additional hour of operation.
Compact, lightweight, and durable
With a weight of only 320 grams, it is comfortable to carry and use during long days. Its IP67 certification provides protection against dust, rain, and temporary immersion in water.
Other features
The GUIDE TE425S has seven color palettes—white hot, black hot, red hot, green hot, iron, blue hot, and sepia—to adapt the display to each environment. Its USB-C connection allows for charging the battery, powering the device, and transferring photographs and videos. It is prepared to operate at temperatures between −20 °C and 50 °C.
