The PIXFRA Cetus is a compact and lightweight thermal scope designed to offer a clear, stable, and precise image in conditions of low visibility, total darkness, rain, fog, or scenarios with reduced thermal contrast. The series consists of the C225, C335, C635, and C650 models, four versions designed to adapt to different observation distances, detail levels, and usage needs in hunting, surveillance, and terrain control.
All models in the range incorporate a 12 μm VOx thermal sensor, PIPS 3.0 firmware with AI-assisted image optimization, silent operation via a multifunction wheel, WiFi connectivity, photo and video recording, 64 GB internal memory, configurable weapon profiles, and IP67 protection. Additionally, they run on an interchangeable 18650 battery, facilitating prolonged use during field days.
The PIXFRA Cetus C225 is the most compact and versatile option in the series, with a 256 × 192 pixel sensor and detection up to 1300 m. The C335 improves resolution with a 384 × 288 pixel sensor and a range of up to 1800 m. The C635 and C650 models incorporate a 640 × 512 pixel sensor, offering greater thermal definition: the C635 stands out for its wide field of view with a 35 mm lens, while the C650 is geared toward medium and long distances thanks to its 50 mm lens and detection up to 2600 m.
Main features
High-sensitivity VOx thermal sensor
The PIXFRA Cetus series uses 12 μm VOx thermal sensors, with sensitivities of up to <15 mK NETD depending on the model, offering a clear and detailed thermal image even in complicated environmental conditions.
PIPS 3.0 firmware with AI optimization
The PIPS 3.0 firmware applies artificial intelligence-assisted image processing to improve sharpness, reduce noise, and achieve a cleaner image in different observation scenarios.
Compact and lightweight design
The PIXFRA Cetus thermal scopes maintain a compact format, with a robust metal body and contained weights starting from 520 g, making mounting and use easier during long days.
Silent operation with multifunction wheel
The multifunction menu wheel allows for comfortable, intuitive, and silent control near the eyepiece, facilitating scope adjustments without unnecessary movements.
Configurable weapon profiles
The Cetus series allows for configuring different weapon profiles within the zeroing menu, offering greater versatility for users who use the scope in different configurations.
Automatic recording before shooting
The RAR function automatically starts video recording upon shooting, relying on a continuous buffer to also capture the moments prior to the shot.
WiFi connectivity with Pixfra App
The WiFi connection allows for fast and stable live image streaming to smartphones or tablets, as well as facilitating device configuration and management via the compatible application.
Interchangeable 18650 battery
The interchangeable 18650 battery system allows for quick and silent changes, keeping the scope operational for longer during hunting or observation days.
Other features
6 color palettes: allows you to choose between white hot, black hot, iron red, red hot, green hot, and sepia, adapting the thermal display to the environment and user preferences.
Picture-in-Picture: PIP mode helps improve target identification by maintaining an enlarged reference without losing the general view of the scene.
Hot spot tracking: the thermal tracking function facilitates quick location of heat sources within the field of view.
64 GB internal memory: offers sufficient space to store image captures and video recordings directly on the scope.
Metal housing and lens cap: construction with a metal housing and metal lens cap provides greater strength and durability during field use.
IP67 protection: IP67 certification protects against dust and water, allowing the scope to be used in rain, fog, and demanding weather conditions.
Operation in extreme temperatures: temperature-stabilized technology allows for reliable operation between -30 °C and +55 °C.
Display off and automatic shutdown: includes energy-saving functions to reduce battery consumption during the day.
