The first Pulsar Telos XG50 thermal monocular is equipped with the best European-made Lynred sensor with a resolution of 640×480 and a 12-micron pixel pitch. What truly changes the game completely is its extreme thermal sensitivity, with an NETD below 18 milliKelvin. As an upgradeable device, the components and software solutions from high-tech manufacturing sectors will improve every year.
FEATURES
Upgradeable device
Components and software solutions in high-tech manufacturing sectors are no exception. Over time, user choices and preferences change. Furthermore, with experience, user priorities regarding the device's capabilities and operation evolve. Telos thermal imaging monoculars are built with technology and user needs in mind. Telos is the first line of thermal imaging devices on the market to offer the option of a technical upgrade upon customer request. You can become a Telos owner and have the opportunity to improve it in a personalized, flexible, and cost-effective way for years to come. You can equip it with powerful optics, a higher resolution sensor and display, more efficient and functional electronic components, or provide the device with thermal imaging capabilities including a laser rangefinder and additional optical channels to always have the most modern device while paying only for the cost of the upgrades.
Highly sensitive thermal sensor
The highly sensitive thermal imaging sensor with NETD <18mK ensures impressive thermal image quality and perfect detail recognition even in the harshest weather conditions, when thermal contrast is low. The smallest temperature differences will be clearly visible during rain, fog, or cold mornings, in the most difficult conditions for thermal imaging.
Advanced Pulsar image enhancement technology
Pulsar Image Boost gives Telos thermal images the highest level of detail, clarity, and contrast with a set of original image processing algorithms. Telos thermal monoculars render complex scenes in a wide range of halftones with uniform low-contrast emitting objects, such as the sky, grass, and water surfaces. The software for object detail and sharpness at different distances makes the thermal image highly informative. Manually increasing the sensitivity of the thermal imaging sensor improves the quality of animal detection when observation conditions worsen. A smoothing filter and a wide range of brightness and contrast settings make prolonged observation comfortable.
Objective ring zoom control
Ideally, adjusting the image on the Telos is done with one hand: the smooth focus and zoom rings are located on the lens in a classic design, one after the other, just like on professional camera lenses. The consistent arrangement of the rings allows for obtaining a clear image at the required magnification quickly and with minimal effort.
Built for the harshest conditions
Telos thermal imaging devices have been designed for use outdoors and in a temperature range of -25 to +40 °C. The device is waterproof when fully submerged in water. The polymer-rubber-coated composite housing has high operational qualities. The absence of protruding parts in the design, as well as the anatomically optimal shape of the Telos thermal imaging devices' housing, contribute to safety and comfort during long periods of use.
Replaceable battery pack with direct plug and wireless fast charging options
The new LPS 7i quick-change Li-Ion battery ensures over 8 hours of operating time. The LPS 7i does not require special chargers; simply connect it to any mains adapter via the USB Type-C port and charge it using the Power Delivery fast charging protocol in no time. Additionally, the LPS 7i battery supports wireless charging.
Ergonomic and non-slip rubber-coated housing
The rubber-coated housing helps to securely hold the thermal imaging device in the hand in both dry and rainy weather. The housing has exceptional wear resistance and perfectly withstands operation in a wide range of temperatures, including dusty and humid conditions, and protects the device from drops. Additionally, the housing is easily cleaned and maintains its original appearance for a long time.
Adaptable for right and left-handed use
The symmetrical vertical design of the controls allows the Telos to be used with both hands with the same degree of comfort: the buttons are located in a row on the top panel and the lens rings are used for focusing and changing magnification. The hand strap is attached to the moving rings with fixation at the end positions, providing instant adaptation of the device for right- and left-handed control.
Ergonomic and functional carrying case
A hunter must move quickly. A sign of good-quality equipment is that it is at hand when needed, and invisible the rest of the time. Stylish on the outside, the Telos case is easy to use and comfortable to carry. The thermal imaging device is quickly and easily removed from the case and put into position. The strap's optimal positioning system distributes the weight of the device on the hunter's body, relieving the load on the shoulders, back, and neck. The cover fits the body perfectly, without preventing the hunter from bending, twisting, crouching, moving across the country, and using weapons freely. Additionally, the Telos case is equipped with straps to attach it to a belt, as well as to equipment with a modular Molle attachment system, including backpacks and webbing gear.
Customizable user interface
Telos thermal monoculars are characterized by advanced functionality, but determining the priority of a particular function is the user's privilege, who sets the order of items in the device's menu.
MORE FEATURES ABOUT THE TELOS XG50
2300 m detection range
A powerful long-distance F50/1.0 objective lens combined with a highly sensitive 640x480@17μm thermal imaging sensor provides exceptional detection capabilities.
Stream Vision 2. Wi-Fi integration with iOS and Android devices
Integrated Wi-Fi connects the Telos to Android and iOS smartphones via the Stream Vision 2 mobile app. This opens up a wide range of options including wireless device software updates, real-time image streaming from the device to the smartphone screen, social media posting of photo and video content captured by the device or transferred to messengers, remote control of digital device functions, and access to the latest Pulsar news. Additionally, registered users receive 16 GB of cloud storage for photos and videos recorded with the device.
Operation at extreme temperatures -25 to +40 °C
The housing, power unit, optics, and electronics of the Telos are designed with regard to applications in a wide temperature range. Telos guarantees reliable and effective performance in freezing cold down to -25 °C.
F50/1.0 fast-aperture germanium lens
The characteristics of thermal imaging optics have a decisive influence on the thermal frame's ability to capture even the lowest levels of radiation. Maximum detection efficiency is achieved with the Telos thermal imager's fast lens (F50/1.0) in combination with a highly sensitive thermal sensor. The Telos offers users the best-quality, most detailed, and high-contrast informative images at all times, even during rain or fog, when the temperature contrast of the observed scene is minimal.
High-contrast AMOLED display
The AMOLED display with 1024x768 pixel resolution has improved color reproduction, saves energy, offers high-contrast images and a fast response, as well as providing clear and smooth images when observing in motion or in cold conditions.
IPX7 waterproof rated immersion
IPX7 waterproof rating for protection against heavy rain, snow, or other precipitation. The unit is designed to work perfectly, even after immersion in up to 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes.
Integrated video recorder with 32 GB internal memory
The Telos has an integrated video recorder. The increased internal memory of 32 GB of the Telos can store hours of video and tens of thousands of photos. A single button press is enough to take a photo of an interesting scene or start recording a video.
Dual Wi-Fi band support 2.4 / 5 GHz
In Telos thermal monoculars, the standard smartphone connection frequency range via a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi channel is complemented by an effective 5 GHz range. The 5 GHz connection offers better bandwidth, faster data transfer speed, noise immunity, and better connection stability, resulting in more productive and easier operation of the thermal monocular with a smartphone.
A selection of 8 color palettes
A selection of 8 color palettes allows the user to observe their field of view more effectively, allowing them to optimize the unit for specific tasks, as well as react to changing observation conditions. White Hot, Black Hot, and Red Hot are optimal for object detection, Rainbow and Ultramarine help increase the chances of recognition and identification. Monochrome Red, Sepia, and Violet are best suited for long nighttime observation.
