SAX KJG lead-free hunting ammunition

The SAX KJG lead-free hunting ammunition uses a monolithic copper projectile designed as a versatile solution for hunting activities. Its construction with driving bands reduces barrel friction and contributes to a flat trajectory, high precision, and moderate wear.

Upon impact, the KJG works in three phases: initial deformation, partial fragmentation in the breakage zone, and the forward movement of a solid residual body. SAX specifies a minimum impact velocity of approximately 600 m/s for its operation to begin and highlights the deep penetration of the residual body to promote exit wounds.
