BERETTA 94X Performance Production 9 mm semi-automatic pistol

Canyon
The Beretta 94X Performance Production represents the evolution of Beretta’s competition platform for IPSC and USPSA dynamic shooting disciplines. Developed to provide greater control, speed, and precision, it introduces a new extended Vertec® Pro steel frame, deeply revised ergonomics, and the renowned Xtreme-S® competition trigger system.
The new geometry allows for a higher hand position thanks to the combination of an enlarged beavertail with a raised profile and a squared trigger guard with an undercut. The elongated frame also acts as a larger control surface, helping to reduce muzzle flip and providing greater stability during transitions and follow-up shots.
The Production configuration is distinguished by its Graphite Grey finish with laser-engraved Beretta logos, polymer grips with an ergonomic palmswell surface, a 20-round magazine, and factory preparation for a red dot optic via a new RDO cut positioned 3 mm lower.
Key Features
Extended Vertec® Pro steel frame
The 94X Performance introduces the new Vertec® Pro, a steel frame with elongated geometry and more aggressive grip surfaces. Its increased length provides a more stable platform and helps control muzzle flip during rapid sequences.
Natural ergonomics
The combination of the Vertec® Pro grip, the raised beavertail, and the undercut trigger guard allows the hand to be placed in a higher, more natural position.
This geometry increases contact with the pistol, improves control, and facilitates faster recovery between shots.
Xtreme-S® Trigger
It features the proven Xtreme-S® competition system, characterized by an extremely short, fast, and intuitive reset.
Its operation is designed to provide a clean, immediate response in both single and double action, while maintaining the safety systems characteristic of the Beretta 92 platform.
Red Dot optic ready
The slide incorporates a new RDO housing positioned 3 mm lower than in previous designs.
This position brings the red dot closer to the barrel axis, reduces the center of mass, and promotes better control during recoil and faster recovery for the next shot.
The new design also allows direct access to the extractor without removing the optic plate.
Cold hammer-forged reinforced barrel
The barrel uses a new steel formulation developed to significantly increase its service life against the high firing volumes typical of competition.
Its cold hammer-forged manufacturing provides precise geometry and high concentricity between the chamber and the bore.
Redesigned firing pin
The firing pin geometry has been revised and protrudes approximately 0.5 mm from the rear of the slide, providing more effective and consistent impacts on the primer.
Optimized extractor
The extractor assembly incorporates an elastomer buffer intended to stabilize its movement and achieve more consistent extraction during intensive use.
Enhanced slide serrations
The slide serrations are approximately 30% deeper and wider than those on the 92X Performance and feature a 15° incline, providing a more effective gripping surface.
Raised trigger guard
The trigger guard features a square geometry with a raised undercut on its lower part. This configuration allows the hand to be positioned closer to the barrel axis and provides an additional support surface for the support hand.
Ergonomic grips
The Production version features polymer grips with the Beretta three-arrow logo and a palmswell surface designed to adapt naturally to the palm of the hand.
Competition sights
It features a red fiber optic front sight and a black, serrated, adjustable rear sight, providing a specific configuration for sport shooting.
Optimized controls
The safety levers and main controls have been redesigned to achieve fast and intuitive handling during competition.
The magazine release button is reversible, making it easy to adapt to different users.
20-round magazine
The 94X Performance Production uses a 20-round magazine, increasing capacity compared to the previous 92X Performance Production.
94X magazines can be used in compatible 90 Series pistols, although conventional 90 Series magazines are not compatible with the 94X.
Graphite Grey finish
The Production configuration features a distinctive Graphite Grey finish accompanied by laser-engraved Beretta logos, visually differentiating it from the Launch Edition with DLC finish.
