BERETTA APX A1 Compact semi-automatic pistol

The Beretta APX A1 Compact concentrates the main features of the APX A1 platform in more compact dimensions, combining handling, ergonomics, modularity, and speed of operation. It maintains the Striker Fired system and the modular frame concept of the APX A1 Full Size, adapting them to a compact format.

The APX A1 Compact stands out for its short-travel trigger with a notably reduced reset, revised ergonomics, and a slide with wide serrations that facilitate manipulation. Furthermore, it is factory-ready for the installation of red dot optics, increasing its configuration possibilities.

Its frame incorporates an extended beaver tail and interchangeable backstraps, while the Aqua Tech Shield® finish provides additional protection to the metal surfaces. It is available in 9 × 19 mm caliber with magazine configurations of 10 or 15 rounds.

Compact format

The APX A1 platform adapts to more contained dimensions, with a total length of 177 mm and a 94 mm (3.7") barrel, maintaining proper ergonomics for a firm grip.

Striker Fired system

It uses a striker-fired mechanism that provides consistent actuation and eliminates the need for an external hammer.

Improved trigger

The new rounded trigger profile offers a lighter and more consistent weight distributed over a short travel. Its reduced reset promotes fast recovery between shots.

Red Dot ready

The slide incorporates milling for the installation of red dot optics using the corresponding adapter plates, allowing for the use of some of the most common Red Dot formats.

Modular frame

Interchangeable backstraps

The backstraps can be removed and interchanged, increasing adaptation and customization possibilities.
