The Springfield Armory Hellcat Micro Compact OSP 3” is a micro-compact 9mm semi-automatic pistol designed for users looking for a lightweight, slim, and optics-ready platform in a very contained format. Its 3-inch (76.2 mm) barrel, width of only 1” (25.4 mm), and 11 and 13-round magazine capacity make it a compact, manageable, and highly balanced option within the subcompact handgun category.
This OSP version features a machined slide ready for mounting compatible optics, distinguishing it from the standard Hellcat Micro Compact. It retains the functional design of the Hellcat series, with a polymer frame, adaptive grip texture, integrated accessory rail, Gen 2 trigger, reversible magazine release, and loaded chamber indicator.
The 3” (76.2 mm) barrel is manufactured from hammer-forged steel with a Melonite® finish and a 1:10 twist rate, offering a sturdy and durable construction. Additionally, it is equipped with a U-Notch sight system, featuring a tritium/luminescent front dot and a Tactical Rack U-Notch rear sight, designed to provide a quick and clear visual reference.
Available in two finishes: Desert FDE and Burnt Bronze, maintaining the same core technical specifications in both versions. The FDE variant features a Desert FDE slide and frame, while the Burnt Bronze version combines a Burnt Bronze slide with a black frame.

3-inch (76.2 mm) micro-compact format
The 3” (76.2 mm) barrel and reduced dimensions make this Hellcat a very compact pistol that is comfortable to carry and easy to handle within the Springfield Armory lineup.
Optics-ready OSP slide
The OSP configuration incorporates a machined slide for mounting compatible optics, offering a modern platform for users who wish to use a red dot sight.
Hammer-forged barrel
It is equipped with a hammer-forged steel barrel with a Melonite® finish and a 1:10 twist rate, a configuration designed to offer strength, durability, and excellent mechanical performance.
U-Notch sight system
It incorporates a tritium/luminescent front dot and a Tactical Rack U-Notch rear sight, designed to provide a quick and clear visual reference.
Top slide serrations
The top slide serrations improve the gripping surface and reinforce the functional design characteristic of the Hellcat range.
Frame with adaptive grip texture
The polymer frame incorporates an adaptive grip texture, designed to promote a firm and comfortable hold in a compact format.
