The Springfield Armory XD-M Elite 4.5” is a 9mm semi-automatic pistol developed on the XD-M Elite platform, an evolution of the XD-M series designed to offer greater ergonomics, improved control, and a more advanced configuration for sport shooting, training, and professional use in accordance with current regulations.
This model features a 4.5-inch (114.3 mm) Match Grade barrel made of hammer-forged steel, with a Melonite® finish and a 1:10 twist rate. Its full-size configuration provides a good sight radius, a comfortable grip, and high capacity thanks to its two 20-round magazines.
The XD-M Elite 4.5” stands out for its META™ Match Enhanced Trigger Assembly, designed to offer a more refined feel within Springfield Armory's line of polymer pistols. Additionally, it features a forged steel slide with a Melonite® finish, improved serrations, a black polymer frame, ambidextrous controls, and a removable short magwell to facilitate easier reloading.
The sight system combines a fiber optic front sight with a Tactical Rack U-Dot™ rear sight, offering a clear and quick visual reference. Its robust construction, captive recoil system, and 1.2” (30.5 mm) grip width make for a balanced, powerful pistol ready for intensive shooting sessions.
