Caliber
Canyon
The Springfield Armory XD-M Elite Compact 3.8” 9 mm is a compact semi-automatic pistol built on the XD-M Elite platform, designed for users seeking a combination of contained size, advanced ergonomics, good capacity, and robust construction. Its 3.8-inch (96.5 mm) Match Grade barrel and compact format make it a balanced option for target shooting, training, and professional use in accordance with current regulations.
Unlike the XD-M Elite Compact OSP 3.8” version, this model does not feature an optics-ready slide, thereby maintaining a more classic configuration within the compact range. It retains the main features of the XD-M Elite series, such as the META™ Match Enhanced Trigger Assembly, ambidextrous slide stop, improved slide serrations, detachable short magwell, and loaded chamber indicator.
The hammer-forged steel barrel with Melonite® finish and 1:10 twist rate offers a sturdy and durable construction. The forged steel slide, also with a Melonite® finish, provides robustness and a sober black aesthetic, while the polymer frame maintains a good balance between lightness, resistance, and ease of handling.
The XD-M Elite Compact 3.8” in 9 mm caliber includes 2 magazines of 13 cartridges according to the BCN Outdoor technical sheet, offering good capacity within a compact pistol. Its Fiber Optic Front and Tactical Rack U-Dot™ Rear sight system provides a clear and fast visual reference.
