This version incorporates the OSP system, with a machined slide prepared for the mounting of compatible optics. It maintains the key features of the XD-M Elite line, such as the META™ Match Enhanced Trigger Assembly, ambidextrous slide stop, improved slide serrations, detachable short magwell, and loaded chamber indicator.
The hammer-forged steel barrel with a Melonite® finish and 1:10 twist rate offers a sturdy and durable construction. The forged steel slide, also with a Melonite® finish, provides robustness and a modern optics-ready configuration, while the black polymer frame maintains a good balance between strength, weight, and handling comfort.
The XD-M Elite Compact OSP 3.8” in 9 mm caliber includes two 13-round magazines according to BCN Outdoor's specifications, offering good capacity in a compact pistol. Its Fiber Optic Front and Tactical Rack U-Dot™ Rear sight system provides a clear and fast visual reference.
