The Springfield Armory XD-M Elite OSP TB 4.5” is a 9mm semi-automatic pistol developed on the XD-M Elite platform, featuring an advanced configuration that incorporates an optic-ready OSP slide and a 5.28-inch (134.1 mm) threaded barrel. Although the model is commercially identified as 4.5”, this TB version mounts an extended and threaded barrel, designed to offer a more complete platform within the XD-M Elite range.
This variant combines the META™ Match Enhanced Trigger Assembly, a Match Grade barrel, an ambidextrous slide stop, enhanced slide serrations, and a loaded chamber indicator. Its OSP configuration allows for the mounting of compatible optics, while the elevated co-witness sights provide an aiming reference aligned with red dot usage.
The hammer-forged steel barrel features a Melonite® finish, a 1:10 twist rate, and 1/2x28 threading. The forged steel slide, polymer frame, and removable magwell round out a full-size pistol aimed at sport shooting, training, and professional use in accordance with current regulations.
Available in two finishes: black and FDE, maintaining the same main technical specifications in both versions. The black version features a Melonite® finished slide and black polymer frame, while the FDE version combines a Desert FDE Cerakote® slide with a Desert FDE polymer frame.

Optic-ready OSP slide
The OSP configuration incorporates a slide machined for mounting compatible optics, offering a modern platform for users who wish to work with a red dot.
5.28-inch (134.1 mm) threaded barrel
It is equipped with an extended and threaded Match Grade barrel of 5.28” (134.1 mm), manufactured from hammer-forged steel with a Melonite® finish, 1:10 twist rate, and 1/2x28 thread.
META™ trigger
The META™ Match Enhanced Trigger Assembly system is one of the main features of the XD-M Elite series, with a configuration aimed at improving the firing sensation in a polymer pistol.
Elevated co-witness sights
It incorporates elevated co-witness sights, designed to work compatibly with optics mounted on the slide.
Ambidextrous slide stop
The ambidextrous slide stop facilitates handling for both right- and left-handed users, providing greater versatility.
Enhanced slide serrations
The improved slide serrations increase the grip surface and facilitate weapon manipulation.
Removable magwell
The flared, removable magwell helps guide the magazine during reloads, maintaining a practical and adaptable configuration.
Loaded chamber indicator
It incorporates a loaded chamber indicator, allowing for visual and tactile verification of the weapon's status.
Two finishes available
