CONSTRUCTION AND CHASSIS
The frame material of these binoculars is magnesium, making them strong and durable, yet not excessively heavy. In fact, they maintain a very good balance, providing enough weight to be easy to stabilize without being heavy enough to cause fatigue during continuous use. Furthermore, they are not overly bulky, which helps with carrying them in multiple ways, as they are hinged and can fold in on themselves. This last feature, along with the lens diameter, conditions the width of the tubes, which cannot be excessively bulky.
They have a very high resistance to rough handling, which is essential for equipment intended for outdoor activities. It is truly difficult for them to suffer any damage from an accidental fall or moisture issues.
Their well-studied ergonomics make them feel very pleasant to hold, aided by their rubber coating, which features strategic textured areas to ensure a grip with wet hands. This covering also serves protective functions and dampens potential swaying against clothing, thanks to the friction provided by the rubber. Additionally, it prevents noises caused by tapping against other metal parts of the equipment.

EYECUPS, DIOPTERS, AND FOCUS
One of the smartest features of these binoculars is the diopter correction lock. Adjustment is usually tedious, but with this function, they can be set without fear of them shifting. There is no need to worry about someone bumping them and ruining your selected setting. The operation is simple: just pull up on the eyecups, make the adjustment, and push back down to lock. For focusing, there is a central wheel with a very good feel and resistance, allowing for quick and precise selection.

LENSES
In this regard, the “EXO Barrier” lens protection technology stands out. It is a coating developed by Bushnell that bonds molecularly to the lens and fills in the microscopic pores in the glass. The result is an ultra-slick coating that repels water, oil, fog, dust, and other particles. Rain, snow, fingerprints, and dirt will not stick. Logically, this treatment also helps keep the binoculars clean, allowing for clear vision even with heavy use.
Another of their most notable aspects is the Extra-Low Dispersion (ED) “Prime Glass” lenses and the use of a dielectric coating for the prisms. The light transmission of the BaK-4 type prism is improved by using this type of coating instead of a metallic mirror one. This causes its surfaces to act as a dielectric mirror. Dielectric prisms produce high reflectivity, great color, stunning resolution, and fantastic details, even during twilight hours. Likewise, they allow 92% light transmission, generating bright images. They also feature a PC3 Phase coating, which improves resolution and contrast. The result of all this is that ENGAGE binoculars provide precise viewing, whatever the environmental circumstances.
The depth of field in these binoculars is also exceptional, allowing you to keep an eye on what is happening outside your main subject, which is a truly uncommon feature. Finally, it should be noted that the lenses of ENGAGE binoculars are made with eco-friendly, lead-free glass and are fully waterproof, meeting the IPX7 military certification.

ACCESSORIES
Bushnell has increased the number of accessories included with the binoculars. The packaging has been significantly improved, and a Cordura outer carrying bag has been included, along with a smaller protective pouch that also serves as a lens cleaning cloth. Along with the protective bags, Bushnell provides rubber lens covers for both the front and rear. Both are easy to attach and remove. To keep the binoculars within reach, a durable and comfortable padded neck strap with the brand name printed on it is also included.
