Specifications
The Beretta BRX1 is a straight-pull bolt-action rifle designed to offer an outstanding combination of speed, accuracy, safety, and modularity. Its linear reloading system allows for follow-up shots through a direct push-pull motion, without the need to rotate the bolt, facilitating fast and intuitive reloading without losing sight of the target.
Its fully ambidextrous design allows the bolt handle and the ejection side to be swapped without the use of special tools. Furthermore, the interchangeable barrel system allows the rifle to be adapted to different calibers by replacing the barrel, the bolt head, and the corresponding magazine.
The barrel and chamber are manufactured from a single steel bar using cold hammer forging, ensuring high concentricity and certified accuracy of three shots under 1 MOA. The locking system uses a rotary head with 8 lugs in standard calibers and 16 lugs in magnum calibers, a solution based on Beretta's experience with military weapons.
Main features
Ambidextrous straight-pull bolt
Fast and fluid linear reloading system via a direct push-pull motion. The handle is located above the trigger and can be changed from right to left without tools.
Reversible ejection
The extractor and ejector can be configured to eject casings from either the right or left side, adapting to both right-handed and left-handed shooters.
Interchangeable barrels
The modular design allows for caliber changes by replacing the barrel, the bolt head, and the compatible magazine. The barrels feature a 0 MOA Picatinny rail installed directly onto the barrel, keeping the scope attached to the assembly during a caliber change.
SUB-MOA accuracy
Cold hammer-forged barrel and chamber from a single steel bar. The geometry of the barrel bedding guarantees 3-shot accuracy of less than 1 MOA with appropriate ammunition.
Three-position manual safety
The safety allows for three configurations:
Fire and reload: trigger and bolt operational.
Safe unloading: trigger locked and bolt operational.
Total lock: trigger and bolt locked.
Adjustable trigger
Trigger pull weight adjustable in three levels, within a range of approximately 950 to 1,500 g, to adapt the trigger to the hunter's preferences.
Reinforced locking system
Rotating bolt head with 8 lugs in standard calibers and 16 lugs in magnum calibers, providing a strong and secure lock.
Detachable magazine
High-visibility orange polymer flush magazine with a capacity for 5 cartridges, including magnum calibers. It incorporates a double release button to prevent accidental extraction and can be loaded both outside the rifle and from the top.
Adjustable synthetic stock
Durable polymer stock with ergonomic grip and length adjustable via spacers. Includes Beretta Extralight® recoil pad to improve comfort during shooting.
Polymer forend
Forend with textured surfaces to provide a firm grip in different weather conditions and integrate attachment points for the sling.
Other features
Receiver: made of lightweight black anodized aluminum alloy.
Optic rail: 0 MOA Picatinny installed as standard on the barrel. Optionally available in 20 MOA.
Barrel thread: M14 with thread protector and 16 mm muzzle profile.
Capacity: 5 cartridges, also in magnum calibers.
Right/left conversion: handle and ejection reversible without special tools.
Durability tests: system subjected to qualification tests equivalent to those used by Beretta for military weapons.
