Beretta
Beretta BRX1 Ranch straight-pull rifle
Caliber
Canyon
The Beretta BRX1 Ranch is the most compact and maneuverable version of the BRX1 platform, developed to offer maximum speed in driven hunts, beatings, and hunting in dense vegetation areas. It combines Beretta's straight-pull bolt system with a short barrel, a sand-colored synthetic stock, and a high-capacity magazine.
Available with a 41 or 46 cm barrel, it features a contained length that facilitates movement through thick brush, quick mounting, and direction changes. Its weight starts at approximately 2.9 kg, making it a light, balanced rifle that is comfortable to carry during long hunting days.
It maintains the key features of the BRX1 family: a fully ambidextrous straight-pull bolt, reversible ejection, interchangeable barrels, an adjustable trigger, and a three-position manual safety. Its cold-hammer-forged barrel offers a guaranteed SUB-MOA precision in three-shot groups with appropriate ammunition.
Main features
Compact Ranch configuration
Its short barrel and reduced overall length provide excellent maneuverability in tight stands, vehicles, and terrain with dense vegetation. It is especially recommended for situations requiring quick reaction times and ease of movement.
Short 41 or 46 cm barrel
It is offered with a 41 cm —16 inches— or 46 cm —18 inches— barrel, allowing for a choice between maximum compactness or a slightly longer, more balanced configuration.
Sand-colored synthetic stock
The stock and forend are made of sand-colored polymer, a distinctive finish that combines durability, ease of maintenance, and a modern look.
High-capacity magazine
It is equipped with a removable magazine with a capacity for 10 rounds plus one in the chamber, one of the most significant differences compared to the conventional BRX1. This configuration provides greater autonomy during driven hunts and beatings.
Ambidextrous straight-pull bolt
The straight-pull reloading system works through a direct back-and-forth movement, without the need to manually rotate the bolt. It allows for quick, fluid follow-up shots without losing the sight picture.
The bolt handle can be switched from right to left without special tools.
Reversible ejection
The extraction and ejection system can be configured to eject casings from either the right or left side, accommodating both right- and left-handed shooters.
SUB-MOA precision
The cold-hammer-forged barrel provides high stability and guaranteed precision of less than 1 MOA in three-shot groups, using appropriate ammunition.
Interchangeable barrels
The modular design allows for barrel replacement and adapting the rifle to other compatible calibers by using the corresponding barrel, bolt head, and magazine.
Reinforced locking system
The rotating bolt head utilizes a locking system with 8 lugs for standard calibers and 16 lugs for magnum calibers, providing a solid and secure connection between the bolt and the barrel.
Three-position manual safety
The safety allows for three different settings:
Fire and reload: trigger and bolt operational.
Safe loading and unloading: trigger locked and bolt operational.
Full lock: trigger and bolt locked.
Adjustable trigger
The trigger pull weight can be adjusted in three positions, within a range of approximately 950 to 1,500 g, to suit the hunter's preferences.
Adjustable stock
The length of pull can be modified using spacers. It incorporates an Extralight® recoil pad, designed to provide comfortable support and reduce perceived recoil.
