Blaser R8 Ultimate straight-pull bolt-action rifle
The Blaser R8 Ultimate straight-pull rifle is the "functional" top-of-the-line model within the R8 family, designed to offer optimal comfort, modularity, and performance in any hunting style. It combines the straight-pull technology characteristic of the R8 system with an ergonomic thumbhole stock and a high degree of customization for settings, allowing it to be adapted to the specific needs of every shooter and hunting situation.
This model is ideal for hunters looking for a rifle that is easy to adjust to the shooter, with options that improve ergonomics, recoil absorption, and adaptability to different terrains, all without sacrificing the barrel and caliber modularity of the R8 system.
Main features
Blaser R8 straight-pull bolt system
The straight-pull bolt system, a hallmark of the R8 series, allows for a fast, non-rotating repetition cycle, facilitating agile reloading and a smoother shooting experience than traditional bolt-actions.
Ergonomic thumbhole stock
The thumbhole design stock offers a natural and comfortable shooting posture, reducing fatigue during long days and improving weapon stability when firing.
Modular adjustment options
The R8 Ultimate stands out for offering customizable adjustments such as an adjustable comb, recoil absorption system, and adjustable or compact butt pad, allowing the rifle to be adapted to the user's physical preferences and shooting styles.
Recoil absorption
Some configurations allow for the integration of a recoil absorption system that improves comfort when firing, especially with powerful calibers, helping to maintain accuracy in follow-up shots.
Compatibility with iC systems and optics
The R8 Ultimate maintains compatibility with illumination control (iC) systems and is fully adaptable to scopes using the Blaser saddle mount system, allowing for quick scope attachment without loss of zero.
Total modularity of the R8 system
Like the rest of the R8 series, this model maintains the characteristic interchangeable barrel and caliber modularity, allowing the rifle to be configured for stalking, driven hunts, or international hunting.
