The Remington 700 is the rifle with the most versions on the market. The synthetic 700 ADL Varmint model, with special features and guaranteed precision, combines the economical ADL configuration with an internal magazine and a heavy contour barrel. These "Varmint" models are among the most accurate rifles manufactured by Remington.
Features:
- Receiver machined from solid steel bar stock for unrivaled uniformity and strength.
- Cylindrical receiver design provides a solid bedding area in the stock for consistent shot placement.
- Recessed bolt face locks into the counterbored breech of the barrel which is surrounded by the receiver, forming "three rings of steel" that enclose the cartridge head for unparalleled strength.
- Integral extractor is set into a groove inside the rim of the bolt face, uniformly supporting the cartridge head.
- 26” (66cm) heavy contour barrel with 5R rifling.
- Internal magazine, without hinged floor plate.
- Synthetic stock with moldings and dual swivel studs (sling and bipod).
- Drilled and tapped for scope mounts.
