Its goal is to offer an affordable rifle without sacrificing accuracy. It originates from a renowned Marlin rifle, a brand which, like Remington, is integrated into the FREEDOM ARMS group.

The 783 family, known for its superb value for money, is bolstered by a new model that aims to offer an affordable, high-precision rifle: the 783 Heavy Barrel. If this series was already specifically known for its good precision, the inclusion of a 42 cm (16 1/2") heavy barrel now makes it a benchmark in this regard. This barrel follows the “button rifling” construction technique, of which Remington was a pioneer in the 1940s and which has allowed it to achieve a dominant position in the industry thanks to its extensive experience.

This weapon places a true precision machine within the reach of any hunter and/or shooter. In addition to the barrel, its robust action, joined to the barrel by a nut system—the same principle as in the AR-15—facilitates an exact adjustment of the “headspace,” another reason that makes it an accurate rifle. The action is accompanied by a solid two-lug bolt, just like the 700 series. But that is not the only reason; its brilliant new adjustable CrossFire™ trigger system also has a lot to do with it.

Furthermore, for its moderate price, it adds several extras that are not usually found in other brands. It features a Picatinny rail, Remington’s famous SuperCell® recoil pad, and an improved Flat Dark Earth (FDE) stock, made of a synthetic material with a high nylon fiber content, which allows for greater strength and rigidity. It is complemented by good ergonomics, thanks to its molded design and strategic areas with non-slip stippling.

Finally, it features a high-quality double-stack metal magazine, which uses both metal and polymer. It has an effective steel lug system that ensures perfect seating. It is detachable.

Features:

Free-floating heavy contour barrel with muzzle threading (5/8"-24 UNEF thread pitch), "Heavy Barrel," with “button rifling.”

Robust action with a barrel attachment system using an intermediate nut that ensures exact "headspace" for better precision.

CrossFire trigger, adjustable from 1.1 to 2.2 kg.

Picatinny rail included on the action.

Remington SuperCell® recoil pad, which reduces recoil by 40%.

Improved high-rigidity and high-strength stock in Flat Dark Earth (FDE), with non-slip stippling on the pistol grip and forend.

High-quality detachable double-stack metal magazine.

Oversized bolt handle for fast and secure handling.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0569/8050/4759/files/w-R85765-1_c95200a2-3243-4190-bb39-ef3a5d759786.jpg?v=1793381394
