Mauser 98 Magnum Expert Rifle

Staying true to this tradition, the new Model 98 Magnum Expert shows that there is no challenge too great for this rifle.

Based on a double square bridge action milled from a solid block of steel, this big game classic is delivered to the same exacting specification as the standard MAUSER 98.

Two massive recoil lugs and a slightly longer action are incorporated to handle the three calibers offered: .375 H&H Magnum, .416 Rigby, or .450 Rigby.

A big game hunter can be sure that with the Model 98 Magnum in hand, they will have the uncompromising firepower of five (.375) or four cartridges (.416 or .450) in the magazine to handle jobs that a double rifle cannot accomplish.

Legendary African big game hunters knew what to rely on: the powerful Double O, with its greater capacity, the indestructible and reliable MAUSER Magnum action.

Thanks to the legendary long extractor, controlled feeding, and fantastic bolt cycle, this power is delivered with speed and absolute reliability when your life may really depend on it. A MAUSER 98 Magnum hunter will not only enjoy the final trigger pull with this unreserved classic, but the journey to get there will also become part of the story. Who wouldn't want to carry one of these strong brutes in the African bush?
