Locking system
Locking is achieved at the barrel using 7 lugs. This unique system provides excellent shooting accuracy and the ability to fire magnum cartridges. This locking system is also a guarantee of increased safety.
Automatic gas system
The feed cycle control system ensures perfect operation with all types of bullets, even magnum calibers.
Comfort and ergonomics
The new WINCHESTER® SXR² integrates several significant improvements in terms of ergonomics to increase your shooting comfort: stock grip is now ensured by a straighter pistol grip and an ambidextrous palm swell; the forend, with its fluid lines, ensures a firm grip in all conditions; the bolt handle is wider to facilitate handling, even with gloves; the Inflex II recoil pad significantly reduces recoil for greater comfort and to facilitate the second shot; and the integration of a slide catch increases the safety of your firearm by keeping the bolt open when it is unloaded.
Sighting system
Shooting accuracy is one of your priorities. Our engineers have developed new ultra-bright fiber optic LPA front sights for even faster aiming. They are easily adjusted with a simple 1.5 mm Allen key.
