Classic design never goes out of style. The traditional oil-finished walnut stock is a tribute to Tikka's history. The checkering ensures a good grip, meaning you can be more confident in your shot.

The Tikka T3x Hunter offers 18 caliber options and multiple barrel lengths from 510 mm to 620 mm (20" - 24"). There are nearly 300 different variations of the Tikka T3x Hunter. You can choose a blued or stainless steel barrel, either standard or fluted. The fluted barrel makes the rifle lighter to carry, improves heat dissipation, and balances the rifle.

The stocks of the Hunter family have been made from selected walnut stocks and the oil finish is easy to maintain. Regular oiling keeps the stocks in good condition and lasts from generation to generation.

Cold hammer forging produces accurate and durable barrels. During cold hammer forging, Tikka barrels are hammered from all sides against a mandrel inside the barrel, transferring the mirror image of the rifling machined on the mandrel surface. The cold hammer-forged barrel gives you out-of-the-box accuracy without the need to break in the rifle.

Extremely rigid action made of hardened steel with a two-lug T3x bolt. The bolt features a spring-loaded plunger ejector and a removable bolt handle, with a 70° opening angle that leaves plenty of room to operate the bolt.

In every shooting situation, the rifle always moves slightly, especially when the trigger is pulled. That is why it is essential that the rifle's trigger is manufactured to very strict tolerances. The minimal lock time of the rifle's trigger decreases the time between trigger engagement, trigger break, and the firing pin strike on the primer. This results in excellent rifle trigger control and increased accuracy potential.
