The Caldwell Steady Rest NXT is a versatile and lightweight shooting rest, designed to provide a stable, height-adjustable platform, ideal for sighting in and target practice with rifles, shotguns, and handguns. Its three-piece modular design allows for custom configurations to accommodate different firearm lengths and shooting styles.
Key Features
Three-piece modular design
The Steady Rest NXT consists of three sections that can be used together or separately, allowing for one- or two-piece configurations. This flexibility makes it suitable for a wide variety of firearms, from handguns to long-barreled rifles.
Elevation adjustment
The platform offers a height adjustment of 8 to 12 inches (20.3 to 30.5 cm), facilitating precise alignment of the firearm with the target. This adjustment is performed easily, allowing for adaptation to different shooting positions and shooter preferences.
Non-abrasive support surfaces
The front and rear supports are coated with a material that will not damage the firearm's finish, providing a firm grip without the risk of scratches or marks. This ensures a secure and careful hold of the firearm during use.
Portability and ease of use
With an approximate weight of 1 kg and compact dimensions, the Steady Rest NXT is easy to transport and store. Its assembly is quick and requires no tools, making it a convenient option for shooting sessions at different locations.
