All exterior lens surfaces feature our new EXO Barrier™ coating (in addition to the fully multi-coated surface). In short, EXO Barrier is the best protective lens coating technology Bushnell has ever developed. Added at the end of the coating process, EXO Barrier adheres to the lens at a molecular level and fills the microscopic pores in the glass. The result is an ultra-smooth coating that repels water, oil, fog, dust, and debris, ensuring that rain, snow, fingerprints, and dirt do not stick. EXO Barrier is built to last: the bonded coating will not fade with the passage of time or normal wear and tear.

- EXO Barrier™ lens protection. Bushnell's newest and best protective lens coating, which molecularly bonds to the glass, repelling water, oil, dust, and debris and preventing scratches.
- IPX7 waterproof construction. O-ring sealed optics stay dry inside when immersed in one meter of water for at least 30 minutes.
- Ultra-Wide Band coating on lenses. Anti-reflective coating applied to lenses and prisms to improve light transmission.
- Nitrogen purged to prevent fogging from humidity and thermal shock.
- Multi-X reticle in the second focal plane.
