The LEUPOLD DeltaPoint Pro is the best proof that high-performance optics are not incompatible with small size. Furthermore, in keeping with those dimensions is its low weight of just 54g. These qualities allow it to be used on both handguns and long guns. In the case of rifles, it can even be used as a secondary optic mounted on the main scope.
This reflex sight, tiny but powerful, is extremely versatile due to its diversity of uses; it is perfectly valid for: the tactical operator, the sport shooter, law enforcement, and home defense. By this, I mean it can be mounted on a pistol, shotgun, or rifle.
This varied range of scenarios is thanks to the large number of mounting options available. We should not dismiss how important it is to be able to use a single optic for different applications and weapons. While the ideal is to be able to buy high-end optics for every firearm in our arsenal, this is not always possible for obvious economic reasons, so it is valuable to have options for swapping optics between as many weapons as possible. On the other hand, its resistant aluminum housing and its steel shroud ensure that it will function in the harshest conditions.
Its wide field of view and the clarity of its glass stand out above its competition, which, in order to achieve visibility of the dot, employ different degrees of tinting. Although if there is one thing that makes it stand out above other options on the market, it is the Motion Sensor Technology (MST™). Something new and exclusive to LEUPOLD, present in other optics from this brand. To give an example, we can now leave the sight turned on while our weapon rests on our nightstand or is locked inside a safe. This red dot will turn on immediately as soon as movement is detected.
Furthermore, as is common with all LEUPOLD products, ease of use was also an important point when designing this red dot. That is why this optic has an easy-access battery compartment on top and possesses click-style adjustments for greater precision.
This reflex sight is now available with the traditional red dot in a 6 MOA size.
When evaluating our purchase, we must keep in mind that this reference is a professional product prepared for use in war environments and has a lifetime warranty.

- Every red dot has to survive 5,000 impacts on the “Punisher,” LEUPOLD’s recoil simulation machine. The force of each impact is 3 times the recoil of a .308 rifle. If the sight is not able to pass the test successfully, design adjustments are made and it is tested again.
