The Nightforce NX6 1-6x24 is a second focal plane riflescope designed to offer a wide field of view, a clear image at 1x, and an illuminated reference for rapid target acquisition. Its 1-6x magnification range provides great versatility for hunting and sport shooting, combining speed at close range with increased visual precision at medium distances.
The reticle remains visually the same size when magnification is changed, as it is located in the second focal plane. This configuration offers a constant and uncluttered reference throughout the magnification range, making it especially comfortable for users who prioritize fast target acquisition and an easy-to-interpret image.
It is available with two reticles. The FC-6c features a BDC design developed for heavy .223 Remington and 5.56 mm loads, while the 4A-i uses a simpler, cleaner, and more traditional hunting configuration. Both incorporate a daylight-visible illuminated center dot.
The elevation and windage turrets are protected by caps to help maintain zero during transport and field use. Each click offers 0.5 MOA adjustment, with 120 MOA of internal travel in both elevation and windage.
Its 30 mm main tube, 101 mm eye relief, wide field of view, and manageable weight of 541 g complete a compact and robust scope. The included Power Throw Lever facilitates rapid magnification changes during hunts or shooting sessions.
Key features
Second focal plane
The reticle maintains a constant visual size when magnification is changed, offering a clean and easily recognizable reference across the entire magnification range.
1-6x magnification range
The 1x magnification facilitates a wide and fast view at short distances, while 6x allows for observing targets at medium distances in greater detail.
Two reticles available
It can be chosen with either the FC-6c or 4A-i reticle, allowing the scope to be adapted to the type of firearm and intended use.
FC-6c BDC reticle
The FC-6c reticle incorporates bullet drop compensation references and is designed for heavy .223 Remington and 5.56 mm loads.
4A-i hunting reticle
The 4A-i reticle features a simple and uncluttered design, especially suitable for hunting and for users who prefer a traditional reference.
Daylight-visible illumination
Both reticles incorporate an illuminated center dot that facilitates rapid target acquisition in daylight conditions.
Capped turrets
The elevation and windage turrets are protected by caps, reducing the risk of unintentional adjustments during transport and field use.
0.5 MOA adjustments
Each click provides a 0.5 MOA correction, with 120 MOA of internal travel in both elevation and windage.
Wide field of view
The field of view reaches 38.7 m at 100 m at 1x, facilitating the location and visual tracking of the target.
Compact design
With a length of 259 mm and a weight of 541 g, it offers a compact and balanced configuration for various rifles.
Power Throw Lever
