The Nightforce NX6 2-12x42 F1 FC-MRx is a first focal plane riflescope designed to combine lightweight, fast target acquisition, and precision for mid- to long-range shooting. Its 2-12x magnification range offers a versatile configuration for hunting, stalking, lightweight rifles, and applications where a compact optic with the ability to make precise corrections is required.
With a weight of only 655 g and an overall length of 318 mm, the NX6 2-12x42 F1 maintains a manageable footprint without sacrificing the durability and repeatability characteristic of Nightforce. Its 42 mm objective provides a great balance between light transmission, size, and mounting height.
The illuminated FC-MRx reticle is in the first focal plane, meaning its subtensions increase or decrease proportionally along with the image. This allows the elevation and windage marks to be used throughout the entire magnification range, facilitating corrections and holds without relying on a specific magnification setting.
It is available in two variants: FC-MRx MOA, with 0.25 MOA clicks, and FC-MRx MRAD, with 0.1 MRAD clicks. Both share the same optical and mechanical design, allowing the user to choose the measurement system that best suits their preferences.
The exposed FieldSet™ elevation turret offers repeatable adjustments and allows for quick zero resetting without the need for special tools. Side parallax adjustment from 10 m to infinity, DigIllum™ illumination, and an included power throw lever complete a riflescope prepared for demanding field conditions.
Key Features
2-12x magnification range
The 2-12x range allows for a wide field of view at lower magnifications while gaining detail for observation and shots at greater distances.
First Focal Plane
The reticle changes size proportionally with the image, keeping its elevation and windage references valid at all magnifications.
Illuminated FC-MRx reticle
The FC-MRx™ reticle incorporates a reference grid designed to facilitate drop and wind corrections, in addition to central illumination via the DigIllum™ system.
MOA and MRAD versions
Choose between a configuration with 0.25 MOA adjustments or 0.1 MRAD adjustments, both maintaining the same optical features and dimensions.
FieldSet™ elevation turret
The exposed FieldSet™ elevation turret offers repeatable adjustments and a zeroing system that can be quickly reset without specific tools.
Parallax adjustment from 10 meters
Side focus allows for parallax correction from 10 m to infinity, adapting sharpness and precision to different distances.
DigIllum™ illumination
The DigIllum™ electronic system improves reticle visibility in difficult lighting conditions, such as dawn, dusk, or dark backgrounds.
42 mm objective
The 42 mm front lens provides a good balance between brightness, compact size, and low weight.
30 mm main tube
The 30 mm monotube body offers a robust structure and compatibility with a wide variety of mounts and rings.
Included power throw lever
The Power Throw Lever allows for quick magnification changes, even while wearing gloves.
