The Nightforce NX6 2-12x42 is a second focal plane riflescope developed for hunters and shooters who need compact, lightweight, and versatile optics. Its 2-12x magnification range allows for a wide field of view at short ranges while providing extra detail for observation and shots at medium and long distances.
With a weight of 652 g and an overall length of 318 mm, the NX6 2-12x42 offers a manageable configuration for hunting rifles, stalking, and platforms where minimizing overall weight is a priority. The 42 mm objective provides a good balance between brightness, dimensions, and mounting height.
Its illuminated reticle is located in the second focal plane, maintaining the same visual size when changing magnification. It is available with the MOAR™ reticle, designed for making corrections and holds using MOA references, or with the 4A-i reticle, which features a simpler, cleaner hunting design.
The FieldSet™ elevation turret is capped to prevent accidental movement during transport or field use. It can be transformed into an exposed turret using a standard dial or a custom BDC dial, utilizing the conversion voucher included with the scope.
Lateral parallax adjustment from 10 meters to infinity, the DigIllum™ lighting system, 0.25 MOA per click corrections, and the Power Throw Lever complete an optic prepared for different hunting and sport shooting scenarios.
Main features
2-12x magnification range
The magnification range allows the scope to be used at different distances, maintaining a wide view at 2x and offering greater detail and visual precision at 12x.
Second focal plane
The reticle maintains a constant visual size throughout the magnification range, offering a clean and easily recognizable reference.
MOAR™ and 4A-i reticles
It is available with two different illuminated reticles, allowing a choice between a configuration with MOA correction references or a simpler hunting design.
MOAR™ reticle
The MOAR™ reticle incorporates elevation and windage references in MOA, offering a configuration suitable for users who make corrections or holdovers at different distances.
4A-i reticle
The 4A-i reticle features a clean and uncluttered hunting design, with an illuminated center dot to facilitate quick target acquisition.
Capped FieldSet™ turret
The FieldSet™ elevation turret is protected by a cap, reducing the risk of unintentional adjustments during transport and field use.
Convertible to exposed turret
The capped turret can be converted into an exposed turret with a standard or custom BDC dial using the included conversion kit voucher.
0.25 MOA adjustments
Each click provides a 0.25 MOA correction, with an internal travel of 115 MOA in elevation and 90 MOA in windage.
Parallax adjustment from 10 meters
The side knob allows for parallax adjustment from 10 m to infinity, facilitating a sharp image and precise reference at different distances.
DigIllum™ lighting
The DigIllum™ system improves reticle visibility in difficult lighting conditions, such as dawn, dusk, or dark backgrounds.
Compact and lightweight design
Its weight of 652 g and length of 318 mm allow it to be installed on hunting and stalking rifles without adding excessive volume.
Power Throw Lever
The included magnification lever allows for quick changes in magnification, even when wearing gloves.
