The Nightforce NX8 2.5-20x50 F1 is a first focal plane riflescope designed to offer great versatility in hunting, stalking, sport shooting, and precision applications. Its wide 2.5-20x magnification range allows for a good field of view at short and medium distances, while also reaching the level of detail necessary to identify and aim at distant targets.
With a total length of only 305 mm and a weight of 802 g, this scope combines high magnification capability with a compact form factor. Its 50 mm objective lens provides good light gathering, while the low-dispersion optical elements promote a clear, sharp image with good detail reproduction.
The reticle is located in the first focal plane, so it changes size proportionally along with the image. Its markings maintain their value across the entire magnification range, allowing for elevation and windage corrections without relying on a specific magnification setting.
It is available in two MRAD variants. The C623 model features the MIL-C™ F1 reticle, with a clean and precise design, while the C631 is equipped with the Horus TREMOR3™ reticle, featuring an advanced grid for rapid drop and windage compensations.
The ZeroStop™ elevation turret allows for a quick and reliable return to zero after making adjustments. Side parallax adjustment from 10 meters to infinity, DigIllum™ illumination, and the included Power Throw Lever complete a robust optic prepared for demanding scenarios.

2.5-20x Magnification range
Its 8x zoom ratio offers great versatility, allowing for a wide field of view at low magnification and obtaining greater detail at long distances.
First focal plane
The reticle increases and decreases proportionally with the image, keeping its elevation and windage markings valid at any magnification.
50 mm Objective
The 50 mm front lens offers a good balance between brightness, dimensions, and mounting height, promoting a defined image in varying light conditions.
MIL-C™ F1 Reticle
The C623 variant incorporates the MIL-C™ F1 reticle, with a floating center dot and MRAD markings. Its design keeps the central area uncluttered to facilitate precise target observation.
Horus TREMOR3™ Reticle
The C631 variant is equipped with the Horus TREMOR3™ reticle, designed with an advanced grid for making elevation and windage compensations directly through the reticle.
ZeroStop™ Elevation turret
The ZeroStop™ system allows for a quick and repeatable return to the original zero position after making adjustments.
MRAD Adjustments
Both linked variants work with 0.1 MRAD clicks, with an internal travel of 32 MRAD in elevation and 23 MRAD in windage.
Parallax adjustment from 10 meters
The side knob allows for parallax correction from 10 meters to infinity, adapting sharpness and precision to different distances.
DigIllum™ Illumination
The DigIllum™ system offers red or green reticle illumination, improving visibility in low-light conditions or against dark backgrounds.
Compact design
Its length of 305 mm allows it to be installed on compact rifles, semi-automatics, and bolt-action platforms without adding excessive volume.
Power Throw Lever
The included lever facilitates quick magnification changes and allows the approximate position of the zoom ring to be identified by touch.
