The Nightforce NX8 4-32x50 F2 is a second focal plane riflescope designed for hunting, stalking, sport shooting, and medium-to-long-range precision shooting. Its 8x zoom ratio and 4-32x magnification range allow for a good field of view at lower magnifications while providing a high level of detail for spotting and identifying distant targets.
Its compact design, with an overall length of 343 mm, allows you to enjoy a wide magnification range without adding excessive bulk to the rifle. The 50 mm objective offers a good balance between brightness, resolution, and mounting height, while the 30 mm main tube facilitates installation with a wide variety of rings and mounts.
The reticle is located in the second focal plane, so it maintains the same visual size when changing magnification. The available reticles feature a dual-scale system, with references calibrated to work correctly at both 16x and 32x, offering greater versatility at different distances and fields of view.
It is available in two configurations. Part number C640 features the MIL-CF2D™ reticle, paired with 0.1 MRAD adjustments, while part number C641 is equipped with the MOAR-CF2D™ reticle, with 0.25 MOA per click corrections.
The ZeroStop™ elevation turret allows for quick and repeatable returns to the original zero setting after making adjustments. The side parallax adjustment from 10 meters to infinity, DigIllum™ illumination, and the Power Throw Lever complete a robust optic ready for demanding conditions.
Main features
4-32x magnification range
The 8x zoom ratio allows the scope to be used in different scenarios, maintaining a wide view at 4x and achieving high observation and precision capabilities at 32x.
Second focal plane F2
The reticle maintains the same visual size throughout the magnification range, providing a constant, clean, and easily recognizable reference.
Dual-scale reticles
The MIL-CF2D™ and MOAR-CF2D™ reticles incorporate calibrated references to work at 16x and 32x, increasing the versatility of the scope in different situations.
MIL-CF2D™ reticle
The C640 variant incorporates an MRAD reticle with an open center and floating dot. Its references are designed to facilitate elevation and windage corrections while maintaining a clear view of the target.
MOAR-CF2D™ reticle
The C641 variant uses MOA references, an open center, and a floating dot, offering a precise configuration for bullet drop and wind compensation.
50 mm objective
The 50 mm front lens provides a good balance between light transmission, external dimensions, and mounting height.
ZeroStop™ elevation turret
The ZeroStop™ system allows for a quick and precise return to the original zero after making elevation corrections.
MOA or MRAD adjustments
The MIL-CF2D™ variant uses 0.1 MRAD clicks, while the MOAR-CF2D™ version works with 0.25 MOA per click corrections.
Parallax adjustable from 10 meters
The side knob allows for parallax correction from 10 meters to infinity, adapting sharpness and precision to different distances.
DigIllum™ illumination
The DigIllum™ system offers digital reticle illumination to improve visibility in low-light conditions or against dark backgrounds.
Compact design
