The Thermion 2 XP50 Pro is the latest addition to Pulsar’s successful line of Thermion thermal riflescopes.
Its upgraded 640×480 microbolometer sensor detects extremely slight variations in heat signatures up to 1800 m away: the Thermion 2 XP50 Pro then renders these highly contrasted images on a pristine 1024×768 AMOLED display.
In addition to the massive detection range and outstanding image quality, the Thermion 2 XP50 Pro features a true 50mm objective lens and NETD <25 mK, for higher resolution of objects and backgrounds, as well as 2-16x digital zoom, allowing for target acquisition in virtually any environmental condition.
High-Sensitivity Thermal Imaging Sensor
The thermal imaging sensor with an NETD <25 mK value ensures perfect detail recognition even in the harshest weather conditions when thermal contrast is low. The smallest temperature differences in the observed objects can be clearly visible during heavy rain, dense fog, or cold mornings, making it easier to recognize and identify game and its features.
Fast Aperture f1.0 Germanium Optics
High-quality, fast-aperture germanium optical elements ensure optimal thermal energy transmissibility, minimizing noise and enhancing the detail of the scene being observed.
Mounts on standard 30mm scope rings
Designed from the ground up for ease of use, Thermion riflescopes mount on standard 30mm rings. No specialized tools or equipment are required.
Extreme 1,800 m detection range
High-quality germanium optics, together with an advanced thermal imaging sensor, ensure an unprecedented detection range of up to 1,800 m (2,000 yards), even in complete darkness.
Recoil rating up to .375 H&H, 12-gauge and 9.3x64
Recoil rating of up to 6,000 joules for flawless performance on larger calibers up to .375 H&H, 12-gauge and 9.3x64.
Rugged, reliable all-metal housing
Designed for rugged reliability, Thermion riflescopes feature a full, reinforced, lightweight metal body. Precise manufacturing of the housing elements ensures flawless performance in the field.
IPX7 waterproof rating
IPX7 waterproof rating for protection against heavy rainfall, snow, or other precipitation. The Thermion is designed to run flawlessly, even after submersion in up to 0.91 m (3 feet) of water for up to 30 minutes.
Variable digital zoom
The digital zoom, up to 16x, provides improved focus and overall target recognition at considerable distances.
Zeroing profile management
Store up to 5 zeroing profiles in the internal memory, each with 10 distance coordinates for varying scenarios, for quick rifle switching and on-the-fly adjustments.
Customizable reticle options
A wide array of color-customizable reticles, including scalable ballistic reticles. Color options: black, white, red, and green.
Picture-in-Picture
Picture-in-Picture displays a magnified image at the top center which shows 10% of the overall field of view for precise focusing on the target.
Image Boost Technology
Image Boost technology is a proprietary combination of software algorithms that improves overall image clarity and detail. Applying Image Boost results in a sharper, more detailed image, thereby enhancing object identification capabilities.
Full-color HD AMOLED display
The Thermion’s HD AMOLED display delivers a vivid, sharp, and high-contrast field of view, while AMOLED technology ensures flawless, fluid, high-resolution imaging and low power consumption.
Color Palettes
Color palettes offer customized display options. White hot and black hot are most popular, but red hot, rainbow, and ultramarine highlight more intense hot spots of a heat signature. Violet, red monochrome, and sepia are excellent palettes for reducing eye fatigue during long periods of observation.
Wi-Fi. Integration with IOS and Android devices
The built-in Wi-Fi module connects the device with Android or iOS smartphones using the Stream Vision 2 mobile app. This combination opens up a wide range of options: wireless device software updates, real-time image transmission to the mobile device screen, remote control digital functions, and much more. Registering in the app provides cloud storage space for photos and videos taken with digital or thermal imaging devices. Importantly, the device remains compatible with the first version of the Stream Vision app.
Video and photo recording
Built-in video and still-image recording in MPEG-4 and .jpg make sharing thermal imagery quick and easy. The internal 16 GB memory handles flawless retrieval and has the capacity to store hours of video or thousands of photos.
B-Pack Mini combined power system
Thermion riflescopes have a combined battery system consisting of two rechargeable batteries – one internal and one external. The external rechargeable battery ensures additional operating time and can be replaced in seconds.
User-friendly controls
Thermion operation and adjustments are simple using the three function buttons on the top of the device and the left-side rotary encoder. The three buttons and the encoder provide access to and management of all device menu options, settings, and system functions.
