The new ZEISS LRP S3 riflescope series follows in the footsteps of the impressive LRP S5, expanding the range of precision scopes for long-range sport shooting and hunting. The ZEISS LRP S3 will be available in 4-25x50 and 6-36x56 models, both in MRAD or MOA versions and, of course, with First Focal Plane (FFP).
The First Focal Plane optics and elevation adjustment turrets of the Zeiss LRP S3 provide the largest total elevation travel in their class, combined with an advanced optical system. They offer ultra-sharp images and capture the maximum amount of light for low-light conditions, providing the necessary vision to clearly identify each game animal or target without hesitation.
ZEISS LRP S3 425-50 / 636-56. Ready for the hunt.
No two hunts are the same, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't be as well-prepared as possible. Your riflescope will play a fundamental role in the success of the hunt.
The ZEISS LRP S3 first focal plane riflescopes provide the best total elevation travel in their class, combined with an advanced optical system. They provide ultra-sharp images and achieve the maximum amount of light in low-light conditions to be able to identify game at long distances. The ZEISS LRP S3 425-50 offers a wide field of view, which is why it is the riflescope of choice for medium and long-range targets. Its compact and lightweight 34 mm main tube has been tested to withstand impacts with 1,500 times the g-force over several cycles.
Advanced optics
With Extra-Low Dispersion (ED) glass elements, ZEISS T* multi-coated lenses, and 90% light transmission, the ZEISS LRP S3 models provide advanced optical performance.
The ZEISS LRP S3 riflescopes use the proven ZEISS Ballistic Stop to provide an absolute and true return to zero. Furthermore, they feature an external locking turret that provides immediate access for windage corrections, with a locking function.
A powerfully illuminated, daylight-visible reticle, with a user-selectable red or green illumination option, is controlled via five intensity levels. Only the center section of the reticle is illuminated for a more precise aiming point.
A clear view, in any weather
In the wild, there is always something exciting to see; even when it is raining. This is why ZEISS developed LotuTec®. A coating for the lenses of binoculars and spotting scopes that allows for a clear and unobstructed view in any weather situation.
In the world of long-range hunting, the goal is to easily locate targets at great distances and successfully engage them with every shot. Easier said than done! Why? There are many obstacles between the hunter and the targets. These can be extreme distances, where current cartridges are pushed beyond their intended limits. There can also be hidden targets, changes in wind direction, and poor light conditions; there are always factors working against you. To overcome these obstacles, all parameters of the scope's capability will be put to the test. You cannot control the conditions, but you can adjust to them depending on the riflescope you have selected.
Confidence in the most extreme situations.
Recoil
- Precision despite the stress: When hunting, optics are exposed to extreme forces when firing a wide variety of calibers, in addition to the falls that the weapon may be exposed to: ZEISS optics are capable of withstanding all of this and more in the harsh environment of hunting*.
- Recoil test with up to 1,500 times the g-force: *It is recommended to perform a test shot after the optic has been subjected to involuntary knocks or jars.
Waterproof
- Prepared for everything: Whether it's hours of waiting in continuous rain during the hunt or the improvised cleaning of the optic with a bottle of water, ZEISS hunting optics are built for hunting and remain adjusted even in the harshest weather conditions.
- Immersion test to check waterproofness: Continuous simulated irrigation and complete immersion of the optic in a water column ensure that all ZEISS optics are absolutely waterproof.
Continuous shocks
- Road endurance: With the weapon in the trunk through forests and trails in poor condition, or on foot in impassable terrain, it is clear that bumps are inevitable during the hunt. It is good that the optic is prepared for it*.
- Continuous shocks for 90 minutes: *It is recommended to perform a test shot after the optic has been subjected to involuntary knocks or jars.
Temperature
- From the Sahara to the Arctic: From the warmth of the cabin to the intense cold of the outdoors, or hours under the scorching sun, ZEISS hunting optics perform reliably in the most extreme weather conditions.
- Thermal shock: Freezing at -40°C and thermal shocks from -25°C to 50°C in less than 5 minutes. ZEISS optics are tested to the limit in the climate chamber.
Corrosion
- Hard shell, hard core: During hunting, the optic is often exposed to aggressive liquids, such as hand sweat and cosmetics, but thanks to its sealing, it cannot be damaged.
- 24 hours in salt fog: Together with a metal test strip, ZEISS optical components were stored for 24 hours in an aggressive salt water fog. While the metal test strip ended up covered in rust, the appearance of the optic remained unchanged.
